UPCOMING FOR 2011!
We're planning an outstanding Entertainment Programme for 2010-2011. Here are just a selection of things to look forward to...
Howe’s Got Talent – Running on Sundays, over a 4 week period, We will be holding auditions to find 6 talented acts to compete in the final for the public vote to win a cash prize. All ages welcome. Watch this space for further details
Summer BBQ & Gala – Fun for all the family. With a selection of inflatables and games to entertain both young and old, stalls and Grant’s famous burgers.... this will be a day not to miss!
Black Tie Casino Night – For all you gamblers out there, we will be hosting a James Bond themed Casino night, so, ladies get your posh frocks on !
Zumba Classes - Zumba is a the latest Latin dance fitness craze. Using Merenge, Cumbia, Salsa, Samba, Reggaeton music and dance moves, this unique fitness class is set to get you heart pumping and your feet tapping.
Ballroom Dance Classes – After it’s successful introduction to Wednesday nights, Classes will continue throughout 2011
Monthly Poker Nights - if you get five-card fever, or are a fanatic about Texas Hold 'em? Then why not join us for our monthly poker nights. Keep an eye on the website and Members notice board for dates.
Ceilidh Dance – Just because it’s fun!

Car Boot/Jumble Sale - Sunday 15th August 1-5pm
Join us on Sunday the 15th of August from 1pm and grab yourself a few bargins!!
This would also be an ideal opportunity to have a good clear out! So if you would be interested in taking a pitch upstairs in the function hall or outside in the car park, please contact the Club on 01334 652 819.
The cost per stall/car will be £7 with proceeds going to the club.
Poker Night - Saturday 3rd July 2010 - 7:30pm for 8pm
- The Club held it's first poker night on the 15th of May. Numbers were lower than expected however, a good time was had by all with Girvin Imrie taking 1st place. So, if you get five-card fever, or are a fanatic about Texas Hold 'em? Then why not join us for our next poker night on Saturday the 3rd of July.
- The night will kick off at 7:30pm for registration, with battle commencing at 8pm.
- Spectators welcome!

Winner takes all!
Once players are knocked out, we are operating a no re-buy policy. However, tables permitting, we will open a second side game with entry fees set at £8. Late comers will also be invited into the side game.
Each game will operate on a winner takes all basis.
(Due to licensing conditions, a maximum of 25 people can play on any given night)Additional nights will be arranged depending on numbers.

THE ULTIMATE BILLY CONNOLLY TRIBUTE SHOW - SATURDAY 12TH JUNE 2010 - 7:30PM
The Billy Connolly Tribute show on the 12th of June was a huge success. Gary Moir was without a doubt, superb as Billy Connelly and it was an EXCELLENT show. Thank you to everyone who joined us on the night and we look forward to seeing even more of you when we have Gary back next year
LEARN TO DANCE AT THE HOWE OF FIFE RUGBY CLUB
Ever wanted to try dancing lessons? Well, now’s your chance ….
Learn to Dance "Strictly Basics Partner Dancing" with professional dance instructor Elaine Douris.
Includes a 1 hr class followed by 1 hour of social dancing, so you can put your new dance moves into practice.
Classes are relaxed & friendly and dances covered will include Waltz, Social Foxtrot, Quickstep, ChaCha, Rumba, Salsa and Modern Jive.
Whether just for fun, or as an alternative way to burn off some calories, come along for our classes beginning again in August, and join in the fun. Even if you have 2 left feet, that's all the more reason to come along, what have you got to lose?
Due to demand, advance booking advised as spaces are limited.
Classes are £4 per person for Members and £5 per person for Non-Members (payable in 4 week blocks), and are held every Wednesday at 7:45pm

Welcome to the Club House's new weekly game, giving you the chance to win some serious cash
How does it work? ...
Raffle tickets can be purchased for £1 per strip from the Club House all week. The more you buy, the higher your chance of winning ..... obviously!
Every Saturday at 9pm, the person with the winning raffle ticket will then choose a key at random, from a bag of 12. Only one key opens the box and if you're lucky enough to pick the right key, the Prize money in the box is yours. If the correct key is not chosen the prize money continues to roll over each week until the correct key is chosen.
Please keep an eye on the website and Club House notice board for the latest prize amount!!! and remaing keys
Please note that if you are not in the Club House at the time the ticket is called, you will forfeit and all prize money will roll over to the following week. There is an exception to this rule. If you have young children and are therefore unable to be in the Club at 9pm, your name will be written on the back of your ticket. If your ticket is called, you will be notified and can chose a key no later than the following Friday.
